That trailer hitch might have something to do with the failure of the old transmission.
Those are not bees
Just the video I was looking for. Thanks for sharing
I had game chickens for 30 years, and the Hova Bator is the only incubator I ever used. Cheap and reliable once you get used to using it.
At 11:43 she's way off. Telling him the brake disc turns the wheels?
Good job!
Will you aholes stop posting this crap I have lived as self-sufficient as possible for 10 years Including a stawbale house and alternate energy 5 variedies in 10 towers a years You never even showed a "tower"
Live and learn! Enjoyed the video
I really enjoyed watching your video. I live in a Western Suburb of Chicago and I do not have a big garden. But I plant my plants closer than I should because of my space. Two years ago I tried an experiment and it worked for me. I used my cousin's cow manure like I always do, but I also used Milorganite all purpose fertilizer & 10-10-10 all purpose fertilizer. The three combined produced an incredible amount of vegetables. I gave the majority of it away to folks. Milorganite is made in Milwaukee, Wi and it's safe for humans and pets. They have a website where you can watch to see what it is and how it is made. I started two potato towers about a month ago for my first time. I have two artificial knees and hardware in my spine so I really can't kneel like I used to. Thank you for your video !
People who have swing sets in their yard automatically have a means of safely lifting their mowers for maintenance just by using a ratchet hoist. Use pipe on the swing set legs to temporarily make the frame higher if needed. I made a wooden one to stand my mower up on end. No more crawling on the ground with a chance of the thing falling on me.
You need to let the cut potatoes rest for a few days to seal the cut before planting to retard them rotting.
❤❤wowe tnx Sharone South Africa
I absolutely love your videos I use them to home school my daughter, I love how you do everything by hand without heavy machinery, I think its important as skill survival that we learn how to do things by hand, and you all clearly demonstrate this, thank you
Are you doing your temperature in Celsius? I’m over here in Fahrenheit amazed you guys are in t shirts at 21 degrees. lol
Excellent job! I learned from you guys and really admire husband and wife working together. beautiful!
I'm curious if you had any luck. I did something similar last year, and it didn't turn out so well. I'm trying something different for next year.
How did you bleed the système?
U guys just saved me thank you
Poured gas on it and don't light it. The bees will suffocate from the fumes😊
The gas will evaporate way before you use it
Hopefully indoor cats, to many dangers for cats outside
Good job! And your kids are adorable, and so well-behaved!
That was a Whole bunch of GUYS!
Hay, this is a great video. What knot did you guys use?
Amazing video!! I know I’m watching this really late but at least you hatched two! I’m hatching some of my own eggs too so I found this video really entertaining!!
Thank you for showing this the way you did!!! It makes so much more sense than some of the others I have come across
Those were yellow jackets. They are wasp not bees. Soapy water will kill them.
Well done
Such good advice!! Thank you!
Bud, why dont you put the tote directly under the downspout and go straight down instead of what you did…
I love this idea. I’m wondering the results.
Great family project! Nice job. 🙂
do your chickens eat bugs? mosquitoes? flies? do they help with the insect problem?
What a great idea!
Those bolts with the hex heads you stripped, they have been hit on the other end so they dont come loose. I just found that out today. Just grinded them off and the bolts came out no problem.
I laughed when you asked your wife if she just threw the line out of the box. That's what I do! Haha. What a tangled mess. :)
We are chantecler people and I must say you can never have too many chickens. The ones over the limit of over wintering just over winter in the freezer! Some turkeys, chants and whiting tru-blues in the incubator here!
Great video guys! I have a few Chanteclerc in my incubator right now! Hoping to have a good rate 😊
That's awesome . Hoping you get a good hatch
Great video! Just found your channel because we want to move to New Brunswick and homestead! Maybe we'll be neighbors one day!
Thanks for watching and commenting. You just missed an opportunity lol the farm across the street just sold for 249K on 57 acres. Moving to New Brunswick was the best decision we made it's like going back in time to the 1980s. Good luck with your move and maybe we will see you around NB.
Very nice! Can I ask what brand of incubator you are using?
We have the Hovabator 1602N models and they have been working great for us for the last 2 years
My kids and grandkids love this jelly taste like honey
Yes it really does it's so good
What was you final count on hatched chickens?
Final count was 36 surviving chicks hatched
Glad you're back
This might be a silly question but do you need the cattle panel style wire fencing so they grow out the sides or can you use construction cloth and they’ll grow up? I have tons of construction cloth, love some advice. Thank you.
The potatoes grow like a plant so they need to be able to grow out the side.
That’s what I thought, thank you for the quick answer.
I missed you guys!! I think I may have been commenting back in the day on another account. Lots have changed since then. But like I said on your last video. I'm back on a homestead and this time I own it <3. I miss chickens so much and can't wait to get a coop build. Trying to salvage a half built shed here and build my coop for free. I have a back injury so posted a skill swap add, offering cooking and sewing lessons or maybe even mending work in exchange for help with building garden beds and working on tearing down the shed and building my coop and rabbit hutches. Hoping I'll get a few hits. Im also a fellow new brunswicker and were usually pretty open to swaps. Would be great to get company and help at the same time since it's just me and the dogs right now. Also my 13 year old poodle used to mom my Chick's and when your chick's started hatching she perked up and was looking around at the sound <3. I'm also trading being my friends drive in exchange for getting to participate in her wild mushroom foraging walks/classes. I did a video on our solo walk with her recently. She's amazing and I love her. If you guys are ever interested in learning about that she does them all over NB and it's it's such a blast!
Can I ask how much and where you got the hovabator and the egg turner? It's in my list of things I'd like to invest in.
These were purchased at our local country co-op they were 300$ each including the egg Turner.
@@RunamuckFarms nice I'll have to check our feed store here and the moncton farmers coop. See if they have similar prices!
I just bought my moms house with half an acre. I'd love to.get hatching eggs but no incubator and I don't have a coop yet. It's killing me and I'm not even fully moved in yet. I MISS CHICKENS SO MUCH
It is so nice to be able to walk out to the coop and collect fresh eggs
@@RunamuckFarms I miss it! That and Indian runner duck eggs! Ducks are messy but their so cute and their eggs are SO CREAMY. and Indian runners lay as much as chickens.
So happy you are back...
It's good to be back after A bit of A break. We are planning new additions to the farm this summer and we are excited to share the adventure with everyone. Thank You for watching and commenting.
Glad you guys are back. I will send you a pm. A lot to talk about haha
Thanks so much 🥰
Glad you're back
I miss New Brunswick ugh .
